Hydro's Alumetal recycling plant in Kety, Poland, will increase the use of renewable energy to produce low-carbon, recycled aluminium products for the European green transition.

Polish recycling company Alumetal has completed an Environmental Product Declaration (EPD) to document the environmental footprint of its recycled foundry alloy aluminium products. Alumetal has been fully owned by Norwegian aluminium and renewable energy company Hydro since 2023.

We are guided by the slogan "Safty first" all year round. Therefore, during the holidays the Alumetal Group organized practical training of fire safety and simulation of road accidents and collisions while driving.
